Ohio’s goal is to be the nation’s most military-friendly state. Ohio’s pro-military policies include:
- Tax-free military retirement income
- Special military healthcare benefits
- Occupational state licensing reciprocity for military spouses
- K-through-12 and higher education support
- Up-skilling and on-the-job training programs
- Veteran services offices in each of Ohio’s 88 counties
- Ohio is a designated Military Spouse Economic Empowerment Zone (MSEEZ), which helps address the challenges faced by military spouses seeking meaningful employment.
